Your booking is for sole use of the park. Enjoy peace of mind with 6ft fencing, clean facilities and controlled access. No unknown dogs, no traffic risks – just relaxed playtime where you can unwind while your dog explores.

HOW IT WORKS.

Two hours before your booking you will receive an email and text message reminder. This will include the gate code to get into the park. At the end of your scheduled time, put your dog back in the car and lock the gates on your way out.

Book Online.

Pick your preferred date, time and duration. Agree to terms and conditions and read our rules before confirming your booking and payment.

Arrive on Time.

Arrivew on time and wait in the car park until your allocated time. Please wait until the previous booking has left the field before entering.

Run Free.

Enter the enclosed field with your dog and enjoy a relaxing walk without your dog on a lead and use of our field shelter.

FAQs.

The Park:

Q: Where is the park located?

Our park address is: Rettendon Dog Park, Southend Road, Rettendon Common, CM3 8EB. Here is the location on google maps.

Q: Is there parking available?

Yes, there is in-field parking for two cars. There are also two waiting bays just outside of the park. Please park responsibly and avoid blocking the farm access gates.

Q: What facilities are available at the park?

Currently, we provide poo bins, benches, platforms, agility equipment, shade and a shelter.

Q: How secure is the park?

Our park is fully enclosed with 6 foot fencing. We regularly inspect the fencing to ensure its integrity. However, there are dogs that can jump 6 foot fences and there are dogs that can dig there way under 6 foot fences. Therefore, please supervise your dog(s) while in the park.

Q: Can I visit the field before booking?

We generally recommend booking a slot to ensure availability and privacy for other users. However, if you have specific concerns, please contact us to discuss.

Q: How do I book a slot?

You can book your slot online here.

Q: What are the opening hours?

The park is open from 7am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Please check our online booking system for specific availability.

Q: How long are the walking slots?

Standard walking slots are 50 minutes. Please ensure you vacate the field promptly at the end of your allocated time to allow for the next booking.

Q: How do I access the dog park?

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to locate the park and the gate access code for your booked time slot.

Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions. Generally, we require 48 hours' notice for cancellations.

Q: Do you offer block booking discounts?

Please inquire about potential discounts for regular or block bookings by contacting us directly.

Using the Park:

Q: Do I need to bring my own poo bags?

Yes, please bring your own poo bags and ensure you clean up after your dog(s) immediately and dispose of waste in the designated bins.

Q: Can I bring toys and training equipment?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own toys and training equipment. Please ensure you take everything with you when you leave.

Q: Are children allowed in the field?

Yes, children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Q: Can I bring more than one dog?

Yes, you can bring multiple dogs, up to a maximum of 6 dogs per booking. Please ensure all dogs are well-behaved and under your control.

Q: Can I let my dog off-leash?

Yes, the primary purpose of our field is to provide a secure space for off-leash exercise. However, you are responsible for your dog's behaviour at all times.

Q: What if my dog digs?

Please discourage your dog from digging. If your dog does dig a hole, please fill it in for the safety of other users.

Q: Is there water available for my dog?

Yes, we provide a fresh water tap and bowls. However, you may wish to bring your own water and bowl, especially during warmer weather.

Safety & Etiquette:

Q: What are the rules for using the field?

Our full terms and conditions of use are available on our website [Link to terms and conditions page]. Key rules include: cleaning up after your dog(s), keeping your dog(s) under control, ensuring the gate is closed securely, and respecting other users.

Q: What should I do if another dog enters the field during my booking?

This should not happen as each booking is for an exclusive time slot. However, if this does occur, please remain calm, secure your dog(s) if necessary, and contact us immediately on 01245 944 363.

Q: What if my dog is reactive or nervous around other dogs?

Our field provides a private space for dogs who may be reactive or nervous. Please ensure you keep your booking private and do not allow other dogs to enter during your allocated time.

Q: What happens in case of an emergency?

In case of a veterinary emergency, please contact your vet immediately. The nearest vet clinic is [Name and Address of Nearest Vet]. Our location can be provided to emergency services as [Full Address of Field].
